About

I'm Michelle, and this is my life...

I am married to Daryl, whom I have known for, well, pretty much my entire life. I met his sister in kindergarten, and our families have been friends since then. We went on vacation together the summer I graduated high school, and there were definitely sparks when we got back. Our relationship was long distance for the first few years while he was in the Coast Guard, stationed in Mississippi, and I was attending Texas State University (Eat 'Em Up Cats!). It was tough at times, but we made it work.

After dating for four years, Daryl and I were married in our hometown, on July 19, 2008. It was an amazing day, full of happiness and excitement. It was everything I wanted it to be.

We live in our hometown, and love that we are close to both of our families. Our family has grown since we have started our lives together. We have two babies that rule the house. Madeline is our oldest (2010) and is quite a character. Nolan is the newest member of our family (2011) and so far has been pretty laid back.

Our fur babies include a Miniature Schnauzer, Fred, and a Boxer, Lady

I am a Health teacher and athletic trainer. I try my best to put my heart and soul in everything I do. I strive for my students to truly benefit from all that I teach them. Though stressful at times, when the students get the life lessons, it makes it all worth it. I love athletic training and have a passion for anatomy and the human body. I'm a big nerd when it comes to learning and teaching others- I am always looking for fun sites online (so if you know of any, send me the link).

I love to take pictures, and scrapbook. I can never find enough time to do either of these hobbies and have a lot of scrap booking supplies that have never even been used!

I started this blog in order to relieve stress and to just write. It has become much more than that. It has become a place not only to capture life's awesome moments, but a community.

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoy.

Welcome!

  2. m.ball- Thank you for the kind words. I would say the secret is working hard and making working out/ eating healthy a habit. Once it's a habit, it's part of your lifestyle and you won't have to think about "having to," because you find that "you want" to.
